Here’s what’s going on for children and youth at St.Paul’s

It’s important to us at St. Paul’s that children be given time to worship together with their families and with an inter-generational community of faith.

One of the ways we help make that happen is by providing the option of Family Tables to those who are joining us for worship with younger children. Family Tables include colouring and activity sheets, as well as a few small toys for busy little hands. Families can also request their very own Communion Kits which make it possible for them to share Communion together around their table as a family.

If you would like to book a family table for you and the young people in your life, email the parish office or call by Thursday and we will be sure to have a table ready for you on Sunday.

Partway through the service on Sunday mornings, children in Grade 2 and younger are invited to gather in the parish hall for an interactive story time lead by our children’s’ ministry team.

This special program for younger children takes place while the sermon and prayer time takes place in the main worship gathering. After having time and space to engage in some creative reflection and play, these children will rejoin their families with enough time in time to participate in Communion and our closing time of praise

In addition to being a part of an inter generational community of faith, we know how important it is for children to have their own time of more age-specific fellowship and spiritual formation, and that’s what our KidsClub is all about.

Normally, KidsClub happens at St. Paul’s on Monday nights from 6:15pm to 7:30pm. Each week there will be games, crafts, stories, and snacks and lots of chance to experience the kind spiritual fellowship and formation with people their own age that will help them have a growing faith for years to come.

KidsClub will kick-off this Monday, September 13th with a BBQ, bonfire, and mini-golf at the Fire Fly Recreation campground (64 Robertson Rd, Hampton) from 6:15-7:30pm. Please contact us in advance to let us know if you plan to attend.

Riverside Youth is a group for anyone ages 11-18 living alongside the Kennebecasis or Hammond Rivers. Just like KidsClub does for our younger kids, Riverside Youth gives our young people a chance to experience the kind spiritual fellowship and formation with people their own age that will help them have a growing faith well into adulthood.

This group will be starting in October. But to kick things off this Sunday, Sept 12, we will meet for burgers at ‘Burgers at Busters’ from 6-7:30pm! All are invited, burgers on us, hope to see you there
